Every year, Samsung releases new devices in the Galaxy Z Flip series, a range of foldable phones. In 2025, that is this Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 512GB Black. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and it has been improved in several ways. For instance, you will enjoy a larger cover screen, the design has become considerably thinner and Samsung has improved the cameras.

Larger screens

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is a foldable, so you get two screens. One on the inside and one on the outside. Both screens feature AMOLED technology, which makes colours look very realistic. Also, the refresh rate on both screens is up to 120Hz, which ensures smooth animations. Maximum brightness is also fine. It is 2600 nits, more than enough to read your display effortlessly even in bright sunlight.

On the 4.1-inch outer screen, you can respond to your messages, open all kinds of apps and access AI in no time. The screen is a lot bigger than that of its predecessor, the Z Flip 6, making it much more practical!

Flip open the device and you get a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with improved aspect ratio. The refresh rate is adjustable between 1Hz and 120Hz. So your display is economical when it can be, for instance when you are reading an article. At the same time, games look stunning when you set the big screen to 120Hz! Out of the box, this Samsung Z Flip runs on Android 16.
